Yeah.. Seems as though it is just a flaw in design.. The cap comes off awefully easy to do what it is suppse to.. I an just going to get some clear permatex and put a small bead around it..

mine seems really low. How often should it need to be "refilled" to "top it off" <---to the line.

When cold, it should be at the "min" mark. When hot (after a drive) it should be NEAR the MAX mark.

When you park your car for the night, park it on a nice level surface, and check the level. If it is at MIN when hot, add some distileed water/antifreeze mix to bring the level up to halfway between MIN and MAX.

Check it again in the morning. Keep doing that every day for a week. Eventually the level will stay the same, and you will not have to add any more coolant/water. I check mine at every oil change, and about every other trip, before I leave my apt.
