N/A Horsepower gain help!
Hello, this is my first post, so go easy on me please...!
I have a gen 1 2.0l beta 1, with CAI, SAFC-II, magnecore wires, FSE, 4-2-1 manifold and 2.5" exhaust.
I want to stay naturally aspirated and drive my car everyday. I have 159bhp at flywheel at the moment but am looking to get it up to around 200bhp minimum without F/I.
I was thinking about a road race cams and ignition timing with some inlet manifold work. Has anyone got any suggestions on what kind of cams and ignition mods can be done without sacrificing daily driveability for decent gains. I couldn't find any info on low rev range gain durations.
I also emailed MSD about higher performance Ignition coil packs for the hyundai but they said they have none availiable. If anyone has a link to an MSD DIS-II diy, it would be much appreciated.
Also, how far can the engine be bored up?
