Default my window rolls up too far! 00 tib

whenever i put the window up and then step out on the passenger side and shut the door...the glass is too high and does not fit under the molding on the top of the window seal. how can i fix it??? shave the glass down??? i tried putting insulation inbetween the rubber gasket and where the window comes up to keep it from going to far...but it doesnt work all the time...anybody?

Your guides / tracks are out of wack.
And they are a bitch to adjust. You can check HMA to see where the adjustments are inside the door and try to do it your self.

Trust me, from getting my driver's side window broken 3 times from idiots breaking into the Tib, it's not in the OEM position anymore. But pretty damn close, since J@WS01 (Hyundai Tech.) did the best adjustment he could for me.

If you feel up to it, check HMA for adjustments, but if not, take it to the dealer.

I'd cry warranty. Hell, I run out of gas and tell them it's under warranty. 10 years, 100,000 miles, they will pay.

Someone down here has the same problem, I think... Mach 5? hrmm..
