my brake light seems to be shorting out! 00 tib
the 3rd tailight in the tailgate flashes and then stops working and then i will come on ...and then go off again....sometimes it will just flash...like an old lightbulb about to go out....anybody have any ideas....besides taking my tib to the junkyard and starting over!! *LOL* seems like i got the money pit ....except its a car and not a house. thank god!

Yeah, sounds like a short or bad connection somewhere. One of the places that they can tend to go bad is where it crosses over from the body to the tailgate--try wiggling that around with the brakes on and see if it flickers. Otherwise I think you'll have to start ripping the panelling off and tracing the wires...
