Default misfire and CEL

About a week ago, I changed to Accel 8mm universal spark plug wires and got new plugs. I drove my car all day with no problems. Then later tonight, i went to a local carwash and went through the automatic touchless wash like i had numerous times before. After pulling out and getting out to clean off my mirrors to stop the water from freezing, i noticed the exhuast sounded funny, like the car was stumbling.

I get back in and I've got a flashing CEL, so I pop the hood. The front coil pack is sparking from the front most coil and plug boot and arcing to the block, the nearby o2 housing wires, and the bracket for the coil pack. I tried to adjust the cable boot, and I stopped the arcing, but then the other wire starting sparking. I got it to stop sparking from there, and the I could see it arcing from the coilpack to the block about halfway down the coil.

What the hell did I do? I still have a CEL, though the misfire is gone.
