It has the specs for the TPS and what voltage it should return at 50% throttle and 100% throttle, so you can check it before you replace it.
Did the test on speedblinds TPS and it proved good, turned out it was the wiring to the ECU that was bad.
On mine, it still registered 50% throttle and 100% throttle correct, but 0% throttle registered too high, causing the high idle.
