Default Help!!! Guage Cluster Lighting

My Guage Cluster Lighting is out...but it is only the main lights that turn on when you put you headlights on..everything else works..and now all of a sudden my airbag light is on i think it might be from me taking out the fuse for the cluster while the car was running..can i go to autozone and have this resetted and what do i do for the lights..i can't see anything at night =(

well, check the fuse for the guage cluster. if it's not the fuse, check the lights. it's not really that hard to pull the guage cluster out. i did it like 5 times when i had indi-ebay-crap guage faces (the were too thick, and the needles would get stuck). if you do take the guage cluster out, you don't have to pull the dash off. just don't unhook the clock/ac connections, and pivot the dash around them. you can squeeze your had behind the dash to pop the cluster out this way.

The air bag light comes on from the gauge cluster being removed with the battery still connected. If you disconnect the battery, then remove the gauge cluster, the airbag light will not go on.

However, if the air bag light is on now...only the dealer can reset it.

The problem with your dash lights is probably the interior dimmer switch. make sure you pluged the wiring harness back into the dimmer switch and play with the dimmer switch to make sure it's working.
