I purchased my car in August and i think when i brought it back to Montana it got below 0 several times and this cause the plastic part of the door panel that most people paint to crack. Anyway i went to the dealer and they replaced it. Well to get to the point when i came back to pick the car up they had messed up the old panel and said that they had ordered the wrong panel for my car. How in the hell does this happen. They then told me this **** about me having a GL car but my current door panels where GLS panels. This meaning that i have a low scale car but high scale door panels. My questions is this--Is this a giant line of BS or is there such a thing. The GL panels don't have the light in them and the GLS does.
Any info would be great
Thanks

This is still weird and has me confused since my car was a option 5 with everything on it but somehow they say its a gl which is base.
I just don't get it.

That reminds me of my own car...I have the base model 99 with the 15" aluminum wheels and every option that's on the FX except fog lights and power door locks.
I think they just randomly picked cars to put things on eek.gif

Every Tibby has power windows and door locks. Even the 1997 base model. Does your passenger side door lock/unlock when you lock/unlock the drivers side from the inside? If so, you have power locks (as hyundai calls them.)
the 15" wheels might have been off another tiburon the dealer had on the lot where the new owner did not want the 15's, or wanted aftermarket rims, or simply the dealer could have ordered the 15" wheels.
The Foggies were an FX only, but the wiring for them is there. You just need the foggies, and the switch.
Do you have the red door light on the inside?
