Default Changing transmission Fluid.*quick Q*

I have a 99 tib, 5spd.

How much tranny fluid to I need to put in? i need to know so I know how many bottles to buy.

You could try your manual.

Transaxle oil total capacity: 2.15 lit ( 2.27 qt, 1.89 impqt


Also make sure you get a GL-4 tranny fluid.

GL-5 will **** your tranny up.
Exmaple of GL-5 is MOST synthetic. Like mobile one synthetic gear lube is a major NO NO .

Recommended gear oil is.
Redline MT90
GM SyncroMesh (used at hyundai dealers)
B&M Trick shift for manuals Gl-4 version

all hyundai's use GL4 its got something to do with brass parts in the tranny, and the acids or chemicals in GL5 will chomp down on some. Your looking at a tranny rebuild in 10k miles if you use GL5.
