Welcome to the forums
Do a search for "Evap Canister" and you'll find your answers.

Yes, you can move it, (but DO NOT REMOVE it). It is a PITA to move though.
For the Rev A's I suggest you save some headaches and just get a AOS intake, not a "true CAI" but like I say, it'll save you some headaches.
You can get it at speedstate.com

I allready helped him with that today. I walked him thru most of it, but the problem is that since the forums split, we lost alot of info. There is info on what to do for a Rev A, but not an exact How To.

Personally, I'd remove it, and run the system in a loop. That should work eh?

If not, find out how it's mounted, and move it.

Not ALL 97's are "Revision A's". Look in the fenderwell/bumper area in front of the drivers front wheel. If there is a large canister there, you have a "Revision A".

If there is no canister there, you have a "normal" 97.

Have you verified that you have a "revision a"? If not, don't worry about it till you find out if you have one.

yeah, I already checked and there is a box there, so is it really hard to move it, I read that I can move it like 6-8 inches and the AEM Intake will fit ok.

Like the sig says Revision A's are a PITA anyway but don't let that get you down just work around it. FVCK the AOS, unless you actually want that what "warm air" I guess. Definitely keep it but if you cant move it so the AEM fits in the fender with it, see if you can run the lines down to the rear bumper somewhere.

This is my idea so far, I have 2 rev a's so I understand how fvcking gay this is. But the 2000's have some canister back there so there is no reason a 97 couldn't have one there too!

He took of his resonators today.

Our little boy's first mod.

*Sigh*

Anyways, there are also 2 different sizes of the Vapor Cannister. One is big as hell and the other is small. If your's is small, you may be able to squeeze a CAI by it. In reality though, you prolly do have to move it.

Questions.

What is the fuel line that connects to it look like?

Is there just one line in and one out?

After you remove BOTH resonators, is there room to move it in that area?

Keep me up to date, as I want to do a DIY or help for this.
