I took my car to Advanced auto parts, and had the CEL checked out, and it read that the TPS was bad.
Replaced it on my own with a throttle pos sensor off of eBay, and now the CEL came back on after a little.
Now the engine idles at 3,000 RPM range and does not lower, could this destroy my engine if I drive with it like this for a while? The 3,000 rpms lower as I engage my clutch btu ti worries me that it could blow it up, and it backfired once some reason.

What brand is your TPS? Kefico or Dae Sung?
Dae Sung are known to go bad. Kefico seem to be reliable.
How far did you drive before the CEL came back and how long were your RPMs working fine before they started idling at 3000?

I reversed the plug and now it is working, but the engine did rumble for sec or two or three
Like I said I had to snap off some little pieces of plastic and on backwards it was oh well

Its actually made(the TPS) by Original Engine Management (OEM)..?
Please don't use eBay just because it's cheap. It'll cost you more in the end.
I don't understand - are you watching too much Star Wars, or are you saying you had to break part of the case to plug it in? It probably wasn't made for our car then. Should've just gone to the dealership, or posted in the WANTED subforum of the Classifieds.

That company cracks me up. Ask a car guy what is the best part for X thing and sometimes its the original... also known as OEM. So... they made a company name with the same acronym. Sneaky... Good luck and I wouldn't trust that fix. Something isn't right...
