If you go with a 264 Duration your gain will mostly be top end.You have to ask yourself if you want low end to midrange power or midrange to high end.Also with a higher duration cam you may possibly loose some low end torque but gain in the top end.Its our choice. LET ME KNOW!!
Cheuk has mentioned on several occasions that N/A cams up to 272 have been used in Korea and found huge gains in the MIDRANGE as well as the top end.
However, cams with large duration (252 and above) need to have the head ported for the full effect. Slapping in a set of 272/272 intake/exhaust cams on a stock head may net you another 15 wheel horsepower, but having the head ported along with the cams will yield significantly better results (well into the 20's or perhaps even higher depending on other mods to your car)
