Timing belt? That doesn't sound good. I see that you have a 1995 Elantra. The problem with those years were that if the timing belt was not promptly changed around 55k-60k miles, it could snap. Hope thats not the case, because then it can do some serious engine damage. How many miles on your Elantra? I would think its the starter, because a friend of mine had the same clicking problem with his Tercel and it was the starter that needed replacement.

well its definately the timing belt, it dint break but it jumped, no idea if it broke anything else though and the guy that is gonna work on it is out of the country and wont get back til the 12th so i am carless for a while sad.gif
