blown damper
I looked under my car tonight and found the left rear shock absorber covered in oil. Apparently a seal blew. It would explain the crappy handling the last week or so.
Anyone know if this is covered under warranty? (the car is a 2000) If it's not, I'll have to do a cost compare on paying for stock v. aftermarket (gr2s probably)

In THEORY, the Struts should be covered by warranty.
But Struts are "wearable" items, and do wear out, so you'd have to check with your dealer to find out what the warranty is on the struts.

I called this morning and they said "bring it in around 10am". They looked at it and are replacing both rear struts under warranty. The service guy said that the struts are covered under the 5yr/60K warranty. I gotta say, I think this is pretty good service.
