Eat less but more often, Stay hydrated, Getting good sleep , and keep moving throughout the day.
Try not eat anything that tastes sweet or salty. And eat more spicy if you can, I heard it helps because it aids metabolism and some peppers have healing properties.
Also, don't lose weight too fast because if you drop diet you will rebound all the weight back on and then some, that's what happened to me.

Ive gone from my biggest size of 210lbs down to 170 lbs from just riding my mountain bike and not over eating, I eat whatever I want. When I was smoking pot I was eatin all the dam time. Im 5'7" so I was very big at 210lbs and my goal was 160-165lbs. Took about 1 1/2 years but im almost there. Just find somethin physical you love to do and you dont even know its exercise, thats what I love about cross country riding.

I'm the same way. I have a desk job in which I rarely leave my chair. I like to be around 190lbs, but now I'm at 220 due to work and lack of exercise. I love food, so I don't really try to diet. Instead, I run my ass off every night, and play tennis. I'm actually pretty good at tennis and enjoy playing as much as possible, so I don't really notice the physical activity involved. So, like Hotblue said, your best bet is to find a sport or activity that you REALLY like, and do it often.
I know it's hard for you David, but find a friend to exercise with. wink.gif That way you can talk and get your mind off the exercise your doing.

I'm fat, but I've pretty much given up on a permanent solution.
What I found was that exercise made 10x the difference that changing my eating did. But that varies from person to person.

lost 10lbs in the 3 months since i moved
not good enough, also hard to find someone to work out with when you just moved 1300 miles away from anyone you know
right now my daily routine is wake up at 5:30, leave the house by 6:45, walk to work, eat lunch(usually a pb&j and a cup of easy mac) get out of work ~6, make dinner, go to sleep
and i do this 6 days a week, after working so many hours i just dont find my self wanting to be very "active" after words
ugh

Its empty carbs bro. Eat a granola bar or something, least thats somewhat healthy, vitamins and minerals and sh*t.
You should always eat a filling breakfast everyday.
