Default is it ok to have a protein shake for breakfast?

im not a morning person at all , and during the week when i have work, by the time i wake up and get ready i hardly have anytime to prepare anything..

so ive been thinking maybe i should replace breakfast with a shake..

i know people say 'breakfast is the most important meal of the day and yadda yadda.." so i jus wanna know if i should actually make the effort to make a good breakfast or i can just make a quick shake on my way out

Protein shake? Like protein powder mixed with milk/water? Might be a little more protein than you need early in the morning.

I got a Magic Bullet for Christmas and I love it. Most nights, I'll blend a banana or two with an apple or strawberries (and some purple grapes) and drink that for breakfast. I don't mix anything else with it, except maybe a few pieces of ice to make it more smoothie-esque.

I'd suggest trying one or two hard boiled eggs with some fruit... like blueberries, a banana, or an apple.

just some amateur suggestions. I'm not an expert by any means.
