Let's say that you had a baby
BUT
Kept it attached to the placenta, and fed the placenta instead of the baby? Ie, after birth, immerse the placenta in some sort of bio-slime that is rich in oxygen and nutrients...
Is that even possible? Would an umbilical cord be able to transfer enough nutrients to feed a growing body?
Mud, walls, throwing etc.
