Default How bad is stomach sleeping for your spine?

I've been a stomach sleeper all my life, but have heard that this can really f*ck up your spine. Anyone ever tried to make the switch from one sleeping position to another and keep it that way?

If you do your pillows up right, or have the right kind of mattress, sleeping on your stomach is fine. If it weren't, you wouldn't do it. Most of us toss & turn more than we realize at night anyway. Unless you are otherwise already jacked up, or you sleep like some freaky statue, sleeping on your stomach part of the night on a decent mattress with a pillow that supports your chest to let your neck have some slack, you'll be fine.
