I have a mole about the size of a dime on the side of my neck thats getting removed next week. Not sure what to expect. Anybody here have one removed? How was it and what kind of recovery procedure am I looking at?

I don't think it's a big deal, my sister had a bunch of them removed. Just don't scratch it for a couple of days.

They cut it off and pull the surrounding skin together. If it's small enough, the skin won't even be repaired, just left to heal. No big deal. If your doctor is acting like it is routine stuff, pretend you feel the same way and you will be ok.
