I really doubt it, why would it? Right after you're finished you might weigh less because you're dehydrated, but you're not really losing any fat.
It might stimulate your metabolism to run hotter and that could help a little bit, but it won't do anything noticeable by itself..

A sauna will help you lose water weight, but you shouldn't have much if you're already working out. The sauna has two real purposes... to be relaxing and to "make weight" if you're fighting and need to lose a pound or two quickly.

Why would you ever want to lose water weight? Your kidneys and muscles need plenty of it and have a hard enough time without a saunas help!

why don't you sit in it everyday and find out yourself. it's not going to kill you, so just give it a shot. if anything at least it feels good and can wind your workout down.

Yea, don't worry, you'll just get a kidney infection, and your kidneys will start hurting as you dehydrate yourself. smile.gif
Just make sure to rehydrate once that happens. Citric juices.

If you're a boxer or wrestler trying to make weight for your weight class, aside from sticking a finger down your throat, losing water weight is the quickest.
