Thinking about buying a heavybag/sandbag to put in my basement and use it when I work out. Heard it can help build up a sweat and being able to hit harder is always a plus. Any cons to it? Thanks.

No cons to it. Just to be sure to learn how to do a correct form of kicks and punches so you don't injure yourself. After 5 minutes, you'll break a sweet and relieve tons of stress.
