Well, easy way to find out mang. Your Tib there, check and see if the OEM shifter is the same between them.

I installed mine the day I got it. That was Tues. and the only problem I had was teh white cap on the bottom fell off. I am just using the stock white cap right now. The install was really easy. The DIY makes it look harder then it is. Now I just need to figure out how to shorten the left to right movement. This is a good buy.
I got mine and installed it the same day, I am also using the stock white cap. I tried using the cap that came with the shifter but it got extremely hard to move right and left, even after using a crapload of grease.
My only problem now is it hits the shift gate when moving into 1st or 2nd gear. I tried adjusting the longer shift cable, but that only made it difficult to shift into 5th and reverse. If there was a larger shift gate we could buy that'd be great.
Edit: Fixed the shifer today, the problem was the stock white knob I was using. A bit of filing, a new knob and it works great wink1.gif

You could always just open your shift hole up more and work from there.
The white cap problem I've heard of 2 times. Mine had no issues. The hitting I of the surround I know of in 1st for some folks, but not in second.
