Its just sad the car never got to where I wanted it to...I swear the 5 spd and turbo were to come the day after the accident. Thats whne Mike came and Nick was gonna come to help. Sucks.

Well funny story actually..

when that picture I posted a few pages back was taken, I was gonna have endlessmike take a picture of me with the car. But then I realized that I had locked my keys inside the car, and all hell broke. Needless to say the picture never got taken.

I do have one with me sitting inside it...

but I will defineltly take some when the new tib is done in a few months.

we'll see what happens I guess. I can always rescan the original photo, now that I have a better scanner and better software.

 

k i think we need to start a new thread for the calender for just nominations.. we need to get it organized in a way so we can easily look at the nominations and take into consideration what cars are going to be in it.

That's funny.... If we had enough girls to participate, we could do a "girls of RDTiburon" calander. Get them all to pose with their car, prefferably clad in swim suits. Tibbychick would get the cover of course. You're so hot girl! wink1.gif

Whatever you guys decide to do, I hope it is a diverse decision. I mean, and this is my opinon just like anybody else's, but why don't we mix up the calendar a bit? Like Redz stated, not all cars have to have bodykits. We can have a couple of stock looking Tibs on the calendar..not everyone can afford bodykits and etravegant paint jobs. If we just have pics of "dressed up cars" then it divides between the "haves" and the "have nots." We could always have two Tibs on one month..one car on the upper left / another on the lower right? Also, we all bought our cars cause we liked the way they looked when we bought them. If we just post tricked out cars, it takes away from the esssence of the car and the reason we orginally bought them. Not everybody on the calendar has to be a name we recognize...we should have a Joe Schmoe out there on the calendar..that's even better in my opinion. I just feel that the more cars we have, the more calendars will be sold..I know if my car was on there...anywhere..I would buy 4 or 5 calendars (depending on the price)..lol That's why I orginally mentioned the group coulage(however you spell it)thing. Just my opinion.

 

Good point Cyber, I was under the impression that the first calender was more of a shout-out to people who have helped us out. Hence the javageek plug, and David, and Random. Not saying my list should be final but using those, I'm sure people that have been around longer than I have know sombody that deserves to be in there. I dunno.

It doesnt matter whos car is on it.. who ever gets in it will be buying 4-5 calendars. I know if im on it.. ill be puying around 5-7 for friends and family.

I dont think it should necesarily be about the cars.. i am strongly for BEST pics..

Batlord had some great pics, red turbulence has a REAL nice one, blktibs glossy ass 2 halo working tib ass has nice ones,... and theres more..

Remember.. alright looking pictures will come out looking crappy once blown up

If we allow everyone.. we are going to be arguing for a while. Voting is going to be nasty... I rather pic from 20 pics than 100.

I think we should stick to QUALITY of pics.. not just the amount of mods, or how many neons they have..

I want the calendar to look nice.. not have blurry pics.

Anyways.. we are going into mid january and we still havent decided pretty much anything.

Remember.. we only need about 10 calendars made. If anything.. just make another calendar.
We should have this decided on before the end of this week.
