I'll call George and Alex.

Animal,

me, you, george, and alex, are in serious need of a meet up. Maybe lunch, BS, then go hit up some local spots and take some Rediculous shots in groups, solo, inside and out. Something Magazine Cover quality.

I'd love for Tony to come and chill, he's even got a great camera. If not, me and my camera (5.1 mega pixel) or one of me and Angelas photographer friends.

I need you guys for FlyRyde, and it'd be perfect for this.

Guys really though, if we dont get huge ass pictures, then we cant set the resolution high enough to print. At least 300 dpi is what we should use. So it may suck, but unless someone has access to a camera capable of this, (not 300 dpi, but big enough to safely resize and adjust from 72 to 300) they may end up with a super nice car shown in ghetto ass quality. Which is pointless.

Oh, and totally off the wall, just wanted to see what you guys though about this idea.

It would screw up everything, and take a lot longer, but we have plenty of time if anyone thought this was a good idea, but what if we had 3 shots per car, 1 main front angled shot, then two smaller, like the sound system, engine, interior, whatever, and then one shot of the back at an angle.

Here's a demo, not that it'd look this sloppy, but if this sounds retarded, just say so, otherwise its just a thought.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Raven997)</div><div class='quotemain'>dang i come back and i see 3 pages to this. wow that jumped
and yes theses are good quality we use a 32lb lazer paper on a xerox high quality color lazer print(the good stuff) bound together with a spiral bound clear front and black linen back. as soon as i get pictures and we decide where each one is going then it should take a day or two to make them all. very quick turnaround. if anyone has any questions or anything or if we finally fig. out whos going where and stuff we can e-mail them to me. i can make a good collage with a few cars, i am pretty profeiciant with photoshop(they give us all the good toys back there)</div>

sounds great!! do you have a company that does printing?

btw, on the mods list I would like to at least put forward the idea of maybe a mods highlights list. Like for example:

feb. would be jaws?
1999 Tiburon
Super 60 turbo
2001 Tiburon Dash Conversion
Turbulence type R sideskirts
hp/tq maybe, just let everyone pick out 4-5 mods.

it could be in the bottom right of the pic, or even in one of the unused boxes at the beginning of the month. I think this would be nice just so people know the car a little better. That way they don't all look like trailer queens but real street machines.

Default Re: NEED SOME MORAL SUPPORT, FROM FELLOW OWNERS!!!

We need to get some stuff straight here, somebody has to take charge. This is a great idea, but unless we set up some guidlines for how you get into the calender and what size pictures and that, we're up shit creek without a paddle. I like blacktibs' idea of the three pictures. Three pics; one of the full car, two smaller ones of the engine or interior or sound system or special feature of the car.

We need to agree on dates. January 2006 - December 2006 or something different?

Screw putting up pics here. I say we use the COTM thread to make it easier. We now have Jaws, Viper, and Random. If we use them for the first 3 months, Jan/Feb/Mar then we can finish this off by.....September and have this thing for Xmas or earlier. If we get enough cars with a bye into the calender we can even maybe rush it to get it in for a 16 month calender like Cyber suggested. Then it's fair, if you don't post up your pics for COTM you don't have a chance in the calender. We can still change this if there are other cars that NEED to be in the calender. I think the first one should showcase THE very best cars.

Raven you should let us know the size of the pics and the little things that we might not know. Quality on this should be amazing. I really want to see some high resolution pics of each car.

I say since this month's COTM looks to be blacktibs, (as of yesterday) so technically we now have April locked up too. Then next month we post up pics of David from kspec's ride, and any others you think should be there. As for wanting certain months let's wait until the final lineup is set first.

Now THAT is awesome.

See what I mean guys? Tib pics don't have to be highly modified pics to make it in. This one would do great.

I sorta like Blacktib's idea on the multi pic.

Let me see what I can get.

Let's do this.

How about we save up the COTM pictures until next year and start the calendars with the COTM's next year. This year, we can run one from let's say March to January, or even to next March, with "Movers and Shakers" stuff. GOOD pics of tibs that have made a difference. Or of folks that aren't here anymore. Like a shout out.

1. Random.

2. Techontib

3. David (Kspec.com)

And we can add some others/request months for our cars. Then when it comes to next year, we are covered.

Even better. Let's do what I mentioned above, for THIS March thru what, November? Then have the COTM's that have won allready thru January or so. Then when it's time for new ones next year, we will have COTM's all built up for it.

ok def. the pictures should be 300dpi or larger to down size to look nice enough to put something together high quality. and I work at officemax in the print and document services department, where this is what we do alot of back there. i sayt that for this year we put together one from jan 2005 - dec 2005 just for the first one and next years we can perfect it with 2006. we can do the 3 picture thing i just don't think it looks as good, it doesn't look like a cal that you pick up at the stands. also should we vote on months or the people that want the same months going to werk out things on their own?
