ok guys, talked to REDZ and I have taken over this project. a friend of mine that owns a machinist shop is willing to do these for us at 60 bucks a ring.
these are made out of aluminum for all you weight saving junkies and will be spun at a high rpm so in the end we will have a nice polished look to them.
this was the first one made (by the plans Larrs donated) and it's a super snug fit i promise, almost too snug. I will take another measurement tonight so I can get these made so you don't have to cut out the raised areas in the groove area like i did. The ending rings will have COUNTERBORED holes, not countersunk like this ring has, communication error on my part.
