It might be good if some pics of the actual hood on a Tib were posted as the chop that I did may not be anything like the real thing at all. I skewed it a lil' here & there to look the way I wanted it to... but I noticed on one of the hood pics (this one ) the middle scoop is actually quite short & really far forward... Very different from the way I chopped it.

I'd hate to get told off for giving the wrong idea of how it would look :

I have an RD2 and I was jsut wondering what the original price is on this, without discount. hopefully we get more people interested in this so we can get a good deal. keep all of us posted on price and design. as for me i like it how it is but i guess we could have a poll or something

EDIT- Also, is there anywhere else we could post this to get more people interested? just an idea

I kinda doubt there is even a 1st gen hood ready. If I read right, they already have an option for the first gen hoods, but something tells me their first gen hoods are OEM style. If we could get a shot of anything thats actually made already that'd be great.

Half of you need to get shot.

IT'S NOT A DUCK.

IT'S A DUCT.

Come on.

I dunno, I'd like to get it, but everyone is screwing up this whole thing.

1. What would the Price be, for 10 to 14 of these, SHIPPED, each?

2. Pure CF? Or are they a CF upper on a FRP lower?

3. What kind of edges?

4. What kind of warranty on the product?

5. MOST important, can we get a REAL look at what they'll look like on the car? The chops done do NOT look right at all, specially with that front scoop.

When #5 is done, I'll make up my mind. Until then, I'm still looking for someone to make my hood in CF>

ok original price is 599.00
if we get 10 people we get a 30% discount the more people after 15 we get a better discount

the hoods are double sided carbon fiber

the edges are rolled and wrapped nut just cut

warrenty: All gtp products come with a limited amnufactures warrenty the warrenty covers shipping damages and customer satasfaction. Shipping charges are non refundable. Once product is altered in any way can not be returned.

I know everyone wants to see this hood on an rd2 the delimma is this hood is not been produced yet we will be the first to see or get these hoods.

According to the website the rd1 has been produced gtp is located in irvine CA. If they do have this hood in stock maybe someone could swing bye and do a test fit and also have some pics done for the website if anyone is interested i can contact gtp on this?

Hope this helps?
