Ok as most have found out ive been doing alot of work with gtp (importfan.com) trying to get carbon fiber parts done for our cars. Gtp works with Cwest wich is overseas. I have spoke with them and can arrange a group buy on this style hood with or with out the middle scoop it is up to you. Heres the rquirment.

minimum of 10 people we will get 30% off the more people after that the cheaper the discount. Plus shipping i can figure out the shipping cost once we see how many people are interested. A deposit is required on these hoods per gtp.

At this time gtp is focusing on pushing carbon fiber products.

normal price is $599.00 so 30% would be 419.30 but the more people we get the better the price cut we can get.

then that's going to be difficult.

Is installation straight forward or does it require some sort of modification? Also,will the stock hood latch work on it? Are the vents functional or are they just for looks? thanks

 

Ive been told vents are functional and no modifications are needed they have my stock hood to make the mold from for the 2nd gens. The website shows the first gens are already available. Ill double check i think we might be able to get the first and 2nd gens thrown together for the discount i have to call gtp back this afternoon so i'll double check.

 

already made for RD1's. I hope they're not the ones pictured in the first post because those hoods will not fit around the RD1 headlights....?
