Gb: Real S Cam + Ecu
I just emailed Rick with a few questions. We get one cam and ecu but don't know which one. My concern is if it's 15hp or 15-20whp and if it's reprogrammed to use higher octane gas. I hope it's 15-20whp, that would be nice. Hopefully we can get 9 more people cause i would like to do a dyno run with it. Rick told me with my setup with the cams and ecu i would be around 170-180whp, but if i get the other cams(both) and ecu with high comp pistons, i will be at 200whp but cost is $2200, ouch. Better off to go turbo haha.gif
I'm slightly interested, but my main concern is me having to dig up a stock ECU to send off for the core deposit, and spending all that time looking for it.
If Rick could clear up some things (whether its intake or exhaust cam, octane needed (probably 87 still, but safe to know), etc.) I would be more inclined to find an ECU to send off.

why would you need to find another ecu?
its a core
he charges you it then when you recieve the new one you return your old one and get your money back
and yes i think more info would get people motivated

^^ Duh, daily driver is the Tib here. I don't wanna get stuck driving a gas hog GSX\Corvette around for three weeks, wondering when my stuff is going to get here, or if Rick goes on another trip for another week and I end up waiting 2 months for stuff.

J/K.
Doode, a core charge works like this.
1. You pay for your item PLUS what it will cost to replace the item witha brand new one (Incase you don't send your OEM one back, hence, CORE CHARGE)
2. You recieve your item and replace your OEM one with the new one.
3. Go drive.
4. Everything is fine so you pack up your OEM item and send it back.
5. Upon reciept of OEM item, company gives you back the extra charge.
Tada!
