well redzman thanks alot for what you have done...and all i got to say is remember you and I guessed on the studs.. far from a long shot...and all the tb gaskets will be made to bore size that is requested...as soon as you get me that write up and send it to me via email and the likes and dislikes(aka problems that need to be fixed) then payment will be ready.. studs are not a need but would be nice to have if they were the right size.. i agree with the coolant bypass.. throw it away.. now the cable spacers shouldnt be a need..hmm what else here.. redz my aim is dead so we need to talk via pms or something.. thanks Chris

Well, I didn't guess on the size. I gave full measurements on the studs, they didn't belive them, so I told them again that it was about 1.5 inches from end to end. I just remeasured it, it's 1.5 inches exactly. We got studs about 3 inches long.
For the TB spacer, I need to know what to do with mine. I need a 65MM one, and this is at like 54MM. Can you find out for me?
The studs, I'd still advise them NOT to do it, as it's not the hardest part of the DIY, and if you mess ONE stud up, it's a pain in the ass to get it out. Not to mention, if someone cross threads one into the head or IM, it'll be a disaster.
Coolant bypass. If they are GOING to include it no matter what, they need to make it smaller. About 1 inch in length total. Sorry Chris, there's NO reason to include something in a kit if we CAN'T USE IT. For them to send it and us to throw it away, is just plain stupid. Include a part we can use or don't include it at all.
The cable spacers aren't a need? If I'm the only person with this issue, then yes, you are right, if not, then NO, we need something. With all of these they make for different cars, this has to be an issue with one of them somewhere. I can take further pics if needed.
Chris, PM me the Email address of your contact at Outlaw so I can send them all this info and talk direct with them. It's silly for us to waste time sending the emails thru someone else. I'll copy you in on it of course. I'll include all the pics and such too.
Also, I'll be getting another kit for the wife's car, as I signed up for, but I need a 58MM spacer for that one, so the one I have on now, I need to know what to do with. I need a 58 at LEAST right now.

Okay guys, after a full day and a half of driving, here's what's new.
1. Idle is not a problem at all. My new throttle cable is worked in fully and I'm having no issues whatsoever. You still will probably have to adjust your cable fully OUT.
2. The power is very nice and still noticable. My wife drove the car and came back grinning ear to ear. Low RPM power is definately up, mid is a mild gain, but higher RPM's are very nice.
3. The intake sound has changed somewhat. Deeper and not as raspy I'd say.
So, that's one problem no one else should have to worry about. If the studs are removed from the deal, even better. If not, and they put them to the correct size, then still good. SOME folks (Read: Ricers), will want the studs and nuts because they are stainless and perty. I'll go out and get some pics this afternoon again.

Any updates guys? I have been wondering if the spacer was thicker if the gains would be even better. The thicker spacer wouldn't necessarily give gains by decreasing heat (although it might lower the temps even further), but the extension of the runner might increase the volumetric efficiency. I think that is where the good low end gains are coming from (even though the runners are only extended about 1/4"). Smaller diameter and longer runners are good for low end torque as they keep air velocity high, where short-fat runners are good for top end because they do not restrict the air. I don't know, just a thought, I suppose that being able to get a spacer about 1/2" thick is out of the question (that might mess up the injector angle and cause other fitment problems I suppose - not to mention that we would then need a slightly longer stud). Anyway, just thought I'd ask if there was any new news about these. Thanks.

I've been talking to Outlaw, there is progress. Let's expect them to be available in about 2 weeks.
Also, they offered to have a kit without the studs seperately, and the kit won't come with the nipple now.
