i can't believe there aren't more than 5 people that want the nicest skirts ever made for an rd series tib. especially for how rare they are and the good price.

tibbytib, i have no clue why you are even doing this, much less willing to fork over money out of your pocket to get this done.. i would slap the originals on and keep the unique look.

btw, you car is going to look very hott with the evo bumper and these sides.. can't wait to see it.

SOCKS - yeah, trust me, I'm a little nervous as well. If all works out, I should basically get back all the money that I have invested, have my set of skirts paid for, and have enough kickback to get these installed and painted. Probably around 300.00 bucks. Thats all I really wanted to begin with. Hopefully that sounds fair to the folks who are really interested in getting these done. Plus, I got a chance to really help out the community, so, I figured why not.

if this falls through, I have to PM Mad Machine and see if he wants them back. He gave me his dibs so I could try to do a group buy on these for folks. If we doesn't want these back, and this deal doesn't happen in the next few weeks, I am going to keep them an put them on the Tib.

 

ok, well, its been almost a week, and I've only gotten two replies back from people who were interested in these skirts. Its truly not looking good for our group buy. I am sorry that this is not happening. If I could buy 8 of these kits and at least get these started for you guys, I would, but I just cant take a risk like that in my life right now. So....

I am leaving and going on vacation until next week. After I get back, I will send out another PM to everyone on the list with the new proposal. I'll give everyone a week or so to let me know if they are still in or out. Afterwich, if it still looks bleak, then I will be closing this group buy do to lack of interest.

Its too bad. Its like people are waiting for the new tib or somethin. Many RD's have been up for sale lately. 8 months ago, these would have sold like pancakes, I'm sure of it.

 

All the more reason why I want mine to be unique, as we find fiewer tibs out there, to me mine keeps getting better. cool.gif
