--== Etched Plexiglass Spare Tire Cover Gb ==--
Add me to the list, I'll get in on this.
I would like the Turbulence lettering.
Please send me a PM and let me know about how much total it would cost w/ the marguard.
If you don't put stuff in your trunk you shouldn't have anything to worry about w/ scratches. But plexiglass does scratch easily. I use it quite a bit and it doesn't take much. Also when do you need the money by?

what about some type of laminate to put over the finished project, cutting out the engraved areas. i know scc tried something on their project wrx to protect the paint job. you couldnt even tell it had a covering on.

I believe it's normal plexiglass. A laminate won't be an option, as it would cost more to produce.

I will find out how much it will cost with the margaurd, but I'm telling ya - it will be costly. We haven't actually cut margaurd yet, so it will be a bit of an experiment. We can cut aluminum, so I don't think marguard will be a problem, but we'll see. I'll get a price first.
List updated.
Please pay soon. Once we have 10 paid members, we will cut them out and send them. Thank you all, and here's to a smooth GB! laugh.gif

Running it well so far.
I was wondering, is there something I could wrap it in to protect it from scratches? We use my car ALOT so it often has stuff in the trunk. I'm thinking of something like saranwrap.

lol, well yes, you could use saran wrap. I don't see why not. Margaurd will be costly. I'm waiting for confirmation of price at the moment.

I meant is there a film wrap of some kind that is made for that purpose? I've been looking in google for awhile and found SEVERAL items that might work for that purpose.
Just wondering if you knew of any.

Yes, a good peice of scrap carpet from one of those carpet supply stores would work nicely when you have to carry things. Just store it in the back trunk, and place it overtop whenever your carrying your golf bags, gym bags, hockey equipment, baby toys, etc smile.gif
