what makes a forged flywheel so good?

 

It's much harder and more durable.

Lightweight = Made in the mold to be light

Lightened = Shaved or cut down to be made light

Forged is VERY strong, and VERy light.

 

forged, is a process of metal work, dont qoute me but i beleive its taking the steel and heating it so much that it becomes plyable, and its mushed together, compacting its original size down into something smaller but you still have the same amount of steel that you started with,

as opposed to taking a chunk of raw steel and cutting it into a circle and calling it a flywheel.

 

hmmmmmm..
im still trying to figure out if this forged flywheel is better then the fidanza flywheel
and i still dont know how much a stock flywheel weighs..

 

This one is much better than the Fidanza. Much stronger.

 

THe biggest difference Fidanza and this one is this that This flywheel comes with a high performance clutch for $500. Hard to beat this deal. Even IF Fidanza is a little lighter, you're saving around $200 on this package.

Sorry Rick, he was a newbie and I guess had no CLUE what he was getting into. We've had about 8 very successful GB's so far here and this guy is the first Jackoff in them. Did you explain to Paypal what the situation was and direct them to this page too? I'd file a complaint against him too, he should have read what he was getting into.
