I plan to still keep mine for a few more years, but is anyone already making plans to get something else after the Hyundai they have now? What is it?

When you're "done" with the Tib let me know. I'll never get rid of mine unless I have no other choice. If the question is other Hyundais I plan to own: Another RD2 for widebody conversion and veilside kit, an RD1 to chop the roof and make a convertible, a J2 wagon, a Scoupe, an X3 hatchback to beta swap and boost, eventually I'll pick up a GC and Veloster for funzies, and maybe a GK.
"After" the Tib I bought an 09 Accent, a 91 Honda Accord (sold) and an 89 Toyota MR2. For the most part I don't get rid of cars. The trade isn't worth the emotional investment. Other cars I (realistically) plan to own: R32 Nissan Skyline GTR, RS260 Nissan Stagea Autech, Suzuki Cappuccino, Mazda AZ1, Mazdaspeed 3 "Genpu", Mazda RX7 FD3S, Mazda RX7 FC3S 10thAE, Porsche 928, Porsche 964 (959 conversion), 917 Laser kit car, 550 spyder kit car, and hopefully even more than that.

After my beater Elantra dies I hope to get something that will keep up with traffic a little better and looks decent. Hopefully a v6 5-speed car. But in all likelihood I will probably end up with some random decrepit 4 banger sedan.

One of these, painted to the 1999 WRC champonship.
RD1 to chop the roof and make a convertible
My mechanic had one. The front was wrecked though. That's the one he pulled the 5-speed from for the Auto-Manual conversion. I'd love to own a convertible RD1 Tib.

Well, I've already picked up a NB Miata. Still have 2 Accents though.
Next car: NA Miata
Someday:
used GC when they're sub $10k
used BMW M6
used R35 GT-R

There's a yard near me that has an E24 M6 for $1500. Its in total sh*t shape but it tempts me If i came there with cash I bet he'd let it go for half of that.
He also has an E31 that I have been seriously pondering, but the wife has a problem with me dropping 8k on a project car. With the exception of the R32 (12k). That was the one time I put my foot down. My inner fanboy has been waiting 15 years for this.

Nope. What I want is sitting outside.
If I ever get ahead of life enough Id like to get a long nose Z car and drop some beast of a drag motor in it, first car was an 82 280zx, but that is about it.

I thought this same thing... unfortunately a combination of being in England, a giant puddle (might as well been a pond), and a waterlogged engine killed my RD2... I couldn't afford a British engine (Pound to Dollar was horrible 2 to 1) or to have an American engine shipped to me so I had to let it RIP.
I now own a 90 300ZX, I like it well enough... it is a fun vehicle to drive but it's just not me. I really miss my Tib, a lot. I hope that I can get into a Veloster or a Genesis pretty soon...
