What’s the point of building a car if you’re not going to use it?

I see a lot of 400, 500 and 600+whp builds on other cars but I rarely see them being used or tracked. I see some amazing show quality cars too that are trailered everywhere and see maybe 50 miles a year on the odometer

Do you really need to build a race spec motor/car or show car just to do a couple of dyno pulls and run to the grocery store or to just to be lifted up on a trailer?

Whats the sense of building a car if you cant enjoy it all the time?

I can see the point, if you use it all the time it won't last nearly as long as if you garage it and only haul it to shows.

I wouldn't personally go that route, but I can understand it.

Cars are meant to be driven! Not sitting pretty in a garage or on a trailer. Nuff said!

Drive it! I don't see the point of the show car BS either. I love to make my ride look good, but I love to drive it more!

I have a few friends I hang out with that have some show quality cars yet, they never leave the garage unless it is sunny and 0 percent chance of rain. Lol Me on the other hand build cars to drive the sh*t out of them, and when it breaks, to just smile and make it better the next time, that is how i see it. My belief is "Build it, Drive it!"
