Default Warranty Question Due To ZEX Nitrous

Zup everyone. I wasn't too sure on where to post this since it's a question about warranties, so if it doesn't belong here...feel free to move it where the mods think it should go.

Anyway, I have the ZEX nitrous kit installed in my car, and what I was wondering is that I know there is a possiblilty that when the dealer see's it, they could say it will void my warranty. I also know that due to that Magneson Act, they can't void anything without proving the mod that I had done to the car, is what's at fault. And I also know that by them looking in my car, they can't just void a warranty because they see a Nitrous bottle sitting there. The kit is real easy to take out and all, but if something did happen to my engine, and I did take the kit out, how easy do you think the dealer could tell that the problems with my engine is because of nitrous? I'm very very careful with the ZEX, and I don't really use it that much. It's more for show than anything. But when someone fries a piston ring or something, due to NOS, is there any type of residue or any other way to know that the problem happened because of nitrous oxide? Thanx for the help.

Best/easiest way to tell is the hole(s) in the intake manifold where the Nitrous gets sprayed in. Those are hard to cover up.

Other than the "install residue", there is no other way for them to tell.

If the read the ECU codes, they may wonder why the ECU dumped so much fuel. There are forensic sciences that would allow them to figure it out, but your dealership will never do that.

Cool. Thanx man! So if anything does happen, (which shouldn't since I'm conservative on using it), I'll rip it all out, and if the dealer says they won't fix it because I had NOS, I'll tell them I have no idea what the hell they're talking about. tongue.gif

Are there "plate" style nitro systems for our size throttle bodies?

To the best of my knowledge there are no plate style for our sized TB.

But hell...if you could get one custome made. and made in Honda sizes...you would be a millionaire!
