Whats a safe time limit to leave a car up on jack stands? Im finally getting to the point where my beta swap will be underway but Im putting my car up on stands and it will most likely stay on them for about a week in my driveway. Is this ok, or is that too long and unsafe? I dont want to walk out one morning and see my car sitting on the ground because the jack stands gave out after a few days.

 

I don't think there's a limit as long as the stands are on solid ground and used properly.

the turd accent project that never went anywhere sat on jack-stands for sometime.. no issues when it came off the stands. Other than it got crushed for charity right after that.

 

My Accent was on jack stands for something like 5 months. I would much rather store a car on jack stands than on the tires.
