When I was 5 or 6, my parents got me a toolbox, inside was a tape measure, a hammer, some screwdrivers, a bunch of other stuff, and a small SAW! LOL!

Who gives their 6 year old a SAW! LOL! Times were different back then I guess. I also used to sit in the back window of my Dad's 76 Olds on road trips.

I got a couple of those around that age.. When I turned 16, I think, I got a nice 200+ piece craftsman set in one of those plastic cases with 4 drawers.. like the one below..

Still have it and use it all the time.. The quality isn't the greatest (had some sockets actually come apart, but they replaced em free..

I don't remember a time when my dad didn't let me use his tools, and he had ALL the tools I could ever imagine needing when I was a yungin. Probably single-digits old when I got my first tools, and they were probably for working on my bicycles.

I got a little toolset with a few screwdrivers and a couple of wrenches when I was about 6.

I proceeded to remove every electric socket cover and light switch plate. That quickly ended when I grabbed it. Ouch.

I have massive ADD, so anything I got I took apart. My parents would walk into the garage and be upset because my bike was in a million pieces, but about an hour later I would be riding it again.
