That's one expensive tool box. I bet what's inside cost a fortune too.

Why would you pay that much for a toolbox? I can understand spending a mortgage on the tools themselves, but to pay that much for just a box that holds them...I dont know....seems a little

I use pegboard to hang all my small tools. Everything else goes in Gorilla cabinets.

It's not the tools or the tool box that makes the mechanc.

No, they just make him better and faster. I flag many more hours than guys with less tools. As for why buy boxes like that... It's the technicians resume. If I'm applying for a job, I just give them a picture of my toolbox and they know I'm serious and have experience. That particular box would be for an independent performance shop or for someone who is the main guy at a shop. No dealer tech would ever need that many tools.

My box was 11k. But it has a lifetime warranty and is the last box I'll ever have to buy.

You'll never have to replace that box. You'll never have to repair that box. work will chew through $300 Craftsman boxes in a hurry, but that Snap-on will last approximately forever. If you've ever broken a cheap wrench and then been happy to pay for a good one, it's the same thing - except for tool boxes.
