Now that gas prices have gone up? Do you shift at more moderate RPM ranges versus higher RPMs? What about driving slower everywhere?

The same. Mid-high. It's cheaper for me to drive obnoxious and get the hell out of people's way rather than risk having some nutjob swerve into me all because I wanted to save $6 at the pump.

Drive with heavy acceleration and short shift below 3kRPM and you'll save as much gas as going super easy on the gas, but you'll have more fun doing it.

Speeding up = WOT till I hit speed, adjusting as needed so the tires don't slip

Slowing down = engine brake as much as possible, try to judge red lights and set speed so they change before I get to them (traffic dependent of course...)

Makes people sh*t themselves when I wind out first gear to the redline around town (30 mph at redline , then bop it to 5th and cruise.

And I'm the nutjob who runs premium 93 or 100 all the time.

^That's how I do it in the Tiburon, but I tend to cruise faster than the pace of traffic. People think it's silly, but I think they're silly because the slower you go, the less concentration you have.

In the Elantra, which has mediocre acceleration, I accelerate slowly to the point where the fatheads from behind honk or pass and don't slow until I end up going really fast. What people don't know is that there's a hidden rally/F1 car fanatic behind the wheel that's 1000X better than they can ever hope to be.

I tend to go abit slower & shift lower than normal. On the highway I try not to hit above 65, or really even 65. In my head it saves me gas the less acceleration I do.

Gas prices have not had any effect on my driving, either quantity or style.
