Passed a gas station this morning and Premium was 2.81, regular was 2.41. I'll be filling up there tonight after work! Should only take about $20-25 to fill up with Premium since I'm on half a tank.

Oil is $45, yet gas is STILL over $3/gal here. It's closer to $3.50 in Cali. Why? Gotta meet those profit projections the dipshits on Wall Street pull out of their asses. Next person who tells me to my face that gas prices are tied to the price of oil is getting a gas nozzle up the ass.

You're two are paying a boat load of taxes on your gas. I know that whether you're paying money for taxes or gas doesn't matter to your wallet, but you really aren't paying much more than us for the actual gas. European countries pay a lot in taxes because you have much better social services, roads and public transit than we do. I'd gladly pay more for gas if it went towards decent public transit.

Taxes and special taxes are 65% of the price and I know that but you can’t be more wrong about social services and quality of the roads.
Main roads are ok but everything of the main roads is in poor condition.
Public transportation exist but it is nothing special.
Social services… you must take day off if you want to solve anything and you need confirmation to get conformation and even secretary have a secretary…
If you need any kind of medical care it is “free” but you must pay part of cost for everything you need and you wait for 9-12 months for special exams (MR for example).
Average pay is around 700USD/month…
There are countries like Germany, UK… where things are better and you can make more money but Croatia is not one of them. It is really nice country but with incompetent and corrupted politicians.

Trust me, your public transit is much better than anything in most areas of the US. New York and Boston pretty much are the only places in the states with decent public trans. Here in Vegas, we have a crappy bus system and that's it. Even that has only been around since the late 90's. It takes several hours to get across the city.
I'll totally agree with you about some countries being much better off than others. Some Euro countries are wealthy and some just have wealthy politicians.

Filled up tonight with Premium at $2.58 a gallon. Regular is at $2.18. Never in a million years would I ever think gas would get that cheap again. And since winter is around the corner, it'll go down a little bit more too.
I can start using Regular all the time since the car will be going into winter hibernation in about 6 weeks, so I'll be driving the Jeep full time.
