On a side note, gas in Denver is down to about 2.50.

Greetings, I just filled my tank at Costco for $1.88! $27.xx It has been a long time since I have paid that low of a price per gallon of gas. Although, I do remember $0.24 a gallon and used to pump it at $0.28 to $0.32! May have further given away my age...

I wasn't much higher than that when I was a kid. I still remember waiting in line for 5 gallons of gas. I also remember my father almost beating the crap out of some guy who cut in front of this little old lady at the gas station.

^ Wow....that's crazy! Paid $2.40 here in NY. It'll never get down to those ^ prices here because of our taxes. The best we'll probably do is $2 if we're very lucky.

It was below 2 here too, but now stations are back up 2.39 as an average and it keeps going up.

You lot don't realise how good you've got it. Here in Australia at the moment, 91 octane is around $1.40 per Litre, so that's about AU$5.60 (US$4.09)for a gallon. Even with our dollar currently around 73 cents US, we're still paying a shitload more than you guys. A few years ago it got up to $1.80/L, which works out about US$5.26 a gallon (although I think our dollar might have been looking a bit better back then)

Not that much more than me... 91 in Vegas is $3.79. We don't get cheap gas like the rest of the country, because Commiefornia. I'm still trying to figure out why gas is over $3.00 anywhere in the States with oil around $52 - $55/bbl. Only one reason I can think of. All together now, you know it's coming... because profit.

$3.12 for Premium here. Regular is around $2.75. Supposedly gas is going to drop like a rock and be under $2 everywhere once this whole Iran thing gets sorted out since they will be supplying even more oil to the already massive over supply. But it wont matter if there are not enough refineries to turn the oil into gasoline. It's all smoke and mirrors anyway.
