Default Garage Storage Ideas - Overhead Storage

I have pretty high ceilings in my garage and was thinking about how to make use of the space (other than putting in a lift, which will not happen any time soon).

Anyone has these Onrax things or something similar in terms of overhead storage? Thoughts and comments?

Overhead storage is great, I stash all manner of junk on top of my cupboards around the side, but there's of course more space to be used. I guess the only downside is that you'll be cutting through your ceiling to hang sh*t from the rafters.

Cutting through with screws/bolts doesn't count.

Seems like a great idea, depending on the amount of clearance you have up there.

I hang stuff off the Romex snaking along the ceiling. Does that count?

Only if you hang stuff from it with wire hangars.

SO you're going to pay several hundred dollars for $20 worth in parts from Home Depot?

Save the extra cash for the lift fund

^ ^ $20 at Home Depot should be enough.

Don't get overhead storage.

Get a lift. Store your car overhead.

Not sure your garage will look like that over night......

But like the prev image put all crap above the garage open level and save room for the lift. Maybe if your lucky Porsches and Vettes with randomly roost in your newly renovated man cave.
