Just out browsing the web and I saw this. Wasn't too sure how many of you guys know the crash ratings and reports on these 2 cars, so I figured I would post them up.

funny how they rate it, the 97 elantra was the best 3 years in a row till the new bettle won (nhtsa) and they atually never tested the 99/00 till the 2001 came out, they still have to test the 01 but will use the 99/00 to rate it ( trying to give us a bad ratting ) yet it comes out with a decent ratting lol.
