When people come up to you and ask you what kind of car is it that you drive, do you tell them its a Hyundai ..... or just the model, or just the make? I used to tell people it was an Elantra but no one knew what it was until I started saying a Hyundai Elantra. Funny how that works sometimes.

I get it sometimes when I tell people its a Genesis. They say, "Oh...I never heard of that car company." Then I say it's made by Hyundai, and they're all like

Even after I tell them what it is they still have no idea. I guess when they only imported 800 and when there are fewer than 130 left today, it's expected. It's even funnier when someone asks me at a red light, then try's to race me when the light turns green. They get an awful surprise :biggrin:

 

I tell people everything from the year to the trans lol

 

Tell them it's an AMC Gremlin or Stutz Blackhawk.

Then wait.

 

I watch them walk around the whole car, look at the steering wheel,then approach me "ummm,what is it?".....All badges shaved/removed.,The only slanted h is on my spark plug cover
