Do you tell people the make or the model or both?
 

When people come up to you and ask you what kind of car is it that you drive, do you tell them its a Hyundai ..... or just the model, or just the make? I used to tell people it was an Elantra but no one knew what it was until I started saying a Hyundai Elantra. Funny how that works sometimes. :lol:

I get it sometimes when I tell people its a Genesis. They say, "Oh...I never heard of that car company." Then I say it's made by Hyundai, and they're all like :jawdrop:

Even after I tell them what it is they still have no idea. I guess when they only imported 800 and when there are fewer than 130 left today, it's expected. It's even funnier when someone asks me at a red light, then try's to race me when the light turns green. They get an awful surprise :biggrin:

I tell people everything from the year to the trans lol

Tell them it's an AMC Gremlin or Stutz Blackhawk.

Then wait.

I watch them walk around the whole car, look at the steering wheel,then approach me "ummm,what is it?".....All badges shaved/removed.,The only slanted h is on my spark plug cover :thumbup:
