Default Car repair costs on the rise

If you have car trouble in the near future, you might find that your mechanic costs a bit more.

For the first time in six years, prices for car repairs are on the rise -- up 10-percent. According to CarMD, the average cost of a repair is currently $367.84.

Analysts say higher repair costs can be attributed to such factors as a market correction and more older cars on the road.

However, there is a glimmer of good news. The cost of repairing a hybrid is on the decrease.

The most common repair trend among all cars is replacing an oxygen sensor.

Makes me glad that my cars are still new and have warranties.
