Things that grew on you thread
What kind of things did you hate (automotive wise) that you hated at one point but it has grown on you and you really enjoy or like now?
For me, the obvious thing is the Veloster. When I first saw pics of it, I hated it. But I decided to see it in person and test drive it and fell in love. Really happy I decided to buy one.

obviously the V.. I bashed the sh*t out of the V from the initial concept/Tiburon replacement until the release.. Then it grew on me.. Then the release of the turbo was announced and I got obsessed.. I tracked where the cars were going from when they hit port and updated to dealers..
I called the dealer to reserve my car before they knew it was coming and ended up being one of the first 10 people to take delivery of the VTurbo in the states

Only half of an engine. My fist car was a 60 ton, 4 door, mid-eighties boat made out of all American metal. But it sported a 350 V8 and growled like a monster. It made a living out of consuming Civics. Then I got into ultra light 4-bangers and

An insanely hot chick in one of my last college classes. I noticed her but didn't really think much of her. There would never again be another girl after I let the last one go.
Four days into it, she wore a beautiful dress which reverberated her sexy skin in a gleaming light from the heavens. It must have been 90 degrees outside.
Her beautiful soft youthful skin was exposed. Her gentile fragrant voice reverberated deep into my senses. She was 19. It hit me faster than I knew was coming. I soon discovered that of all the girls on campus, of all the beautiful girls I have experienced, of all places on this planet, I discovered she was from my most favorite small town in the United States, which meant she was 1)✓ Rich and 2)✓ Republican 3)✓ Country.
There I was, had her within grasp. She gave me multiple chances to introduce myself. I even spoke to her. I promised myself I would after I let the last girl go... But the class was run by a lesbian maniac, nobody could talk, grades were lousy, and it became treacherous. By then it had already been too late. Winter had settled in. Closing time James.
