burn-out
well it depends on if you have a auto or manual. if you have a auto you put it in nuetral and rev the motor up and the slam it in drive. in a manual you put it in 1st hold the clutch to the floor rev the motor and the take your foot off the clutch. but if you want the nice smokey burnout do it on bleach or motor oil then you'll have the nice white smoke. if you do it on water generaly the tires won't smoke. they will spin. but it can happen. also try to keep the rpms away from the red line or rev limiter. you can also set your e-break and it will help out too.
Dang dude your settin him up for a new tranny.......LOL.......if you realy need to burn of your rubber.....do it in the rain or wet spot with your ass end in dry land and your e-brake yanked on.....a nuetral drop has potential to cause serious damage.....assuming you have an auto.
Unless you're running slicks, it's not in your best interest... burning out street tires will make them "greasy", street tires don't like too much heat.
If you have slicks, then follow the above advice, and if auto, change the fluid after every few serious burnouts, and have a backup vehicle on hand.

amateurs...lol, j/k
i have an auto... just to save some trannies, here's what you do.
Put it in neutral, press your brakes as hard as you can and if you give it some gas, you'll feel the pedal go down even further. Then let off the throttle and while keeping your foot on the brake, put the tranny into first. Next, Stomp on the gas and immediately let off the brake right afterwards. With enough power and practice, you should get a decent peel.
It's 100 times better than a neutral drop!
With a manual, do what Solo said.
Oh yeah, the e-brake helps too.

Why do you need to burn the tires? If it's only b/c you wanted to know, it's a funny question. But if you REALLY need to burn the hell out of your tires, then buy some pretty cheap tires and that should help you a lot
. The better your tires are, the less they are going to burn (and that's supossed to be good isn't it?)
wink

Some people want to warm up their tires before running the track... Some just want to do it for show.
Whatever the reasons, it's your choice as to how long you want to keep your tires. I already wear my tires enough from my driving habits, so I generally don't intentionally wear mine out...
