KORE carries stage 1 through stage 5 clutches
Clutchmasters has a stage 2 and stage 3
HVE has a Brass Button Clutch
RPW has a Ceramic Clutch

Still, have the Tib I've yet to sell it. I didn't want to take the 2500 negative on the trade in. Plus they said the clutch was going bad at 35,000 miles, which I've now notice it doesn't have that SLAM Chirp intop second anymore. My Girlfriend drives the Tib now since some idiots stole her KIA sportage and beat the thing badly. There repairing the sportage though, new paint, body work, transmision.....

What are the pros and cons for each type? Is one truly "better" than the others performance-wise? If not, what are the deciding characterisitics of each one that makes you like one over the other?

The Kore Clutches us a kevlar/carbon composit material. Good for grip, but their weak point is that they can glaze over if they get hot. A rare occurance, but possible.

The Ceramic clutch is impervious to glazing and heat, but it can "shatter" if too much of a shock goes through the clutch, or from bad clutch "chatter".

the Brass button cluch is high friction for IMMEDIATE grab. You really have to POWER through this clutch to get it to slip (BAD ON HILLS).

The Kore Stage 2 is what I would reccomend for all N/A Cars. The Kore Stage 3 is what I would reccomend for all turbo/Superchaged cars. The other clutches are really more than you will need for the 250 Hp max you will ever put down to the wheels.

Even Red, in his Project jesus boost motor is planning on dumping the RPW ceramic clutch in favor of a more mild clutch...and he is planning on 300+ Hp to the wheels.
