I posted in that thread. The time anyone had to do anything about it is long gone. All we can do is hope the guy comes through. He really took on way to much and I hope he learned huge from it. Ill post that up in a new thread just so people see it.

 

this guy is a great example of how people shouldn't live a higher budget life on no budget, borrowing loans, popping out kids when you can barely keep your own self up.

if you really think about it, he did worse than better. it's sad. criminals face community service, serve terms and i don't see how darth vader is any different.

a drive-thru at Wendy's for 3 months would have taken care of all 2 forums clean. california isn't yugoslavia, there's a job at every stop sign. could have paid off dues easily.

 

^^Couldn't have said it any better. A minimum wage job over the last two years on the weekends would have paid off all his debts. Instead, he's still trying to salvage an already dead business. I would've mentioned the kid thing too, but I was afraid of getting flamed. lol

sometimes people have kids unexpected...like me...and it the time me and my wife found out she was pregrant i did not have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out...but i made rank and took care of things before he was born

popping out kids is something we have no control of...not unless he and his wife planned this

 

^^... So it starts... Don't flame HKC. He had a valid point. I think every state has free birth control and/or condoms available. I've been laid more times then you can shake a stick at, and I have not one kid that I know of.

The problem is Chris's ethics. He owed tons of people, blew them off, started up a business front in California, had a kid, told people all about his personal life effecting his business... The whole time owing 1000s of dollars to people over the world and not paying or getting out products. If you ask him, he'll tell you, he thought he had more money then he did and spent it all.

People better get their complaints in quickly or else.

Like I said the way I see it is there isnt anything anyone can do so might as well sit back and hope something happens for him and the money and/or parts comes.

 

what kills me the most about chris posting over onn NT is the fact that NT has stopped his forum over there yet he still posts there telling the guys they will get their money.

we haven't closed his forum here, yet we dont hear shit.

crooked h closed his place over there also. makes me wonder if we are not seeing the light .

and DTN is right. hell i shouldn't even post here. but i believe in justice. verdict is good guy i'm sure, feel bad for him, but the letter just proved it's all one big disaster and if nobody does anything this will keep going with nobody satisfied.

FYI for those who have ever thought about traveling out to CA to pay Chris a visit. I took matters into my own hands and made the trip to Fontana, CA (because it was only one state line for me) and actually had somewhat decent results. Receiving 2/3 of what was owed. Granted, I had to do all the work myself but what matters is Chris got me what he needed to get me. With a little advanced warning and a prompt visit I think Chris'll help you get your stuff just so you'll leave him, his wife, and his about to be born son alone. It's a sad state of affairs when THIS is what it comes down to (to get your stuff..) but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Unfortunately, it's looks like I'll be having to make ANOTHER trip back to get that last 1/3. . .

The *Ding application on Southwest.com can find you some pretty damn decent round trip fares (you can fly into LAX or Burbank Int'l), and a rental car from Burbank to Chris' house is about an hour's drive +/- 1/2 hour. Problem is... what are you owed and can you take it back with you on an airplane? Is it even readily available? Can you get $$$ instead of the items owed.

Everyone's situation is a little different. I was so pissed off because my items were RIGHT THERE, within reach. All Chris had to do was PLAN a trip to Megan Racing to pick up some damn headers and mail them to me. I think having to PAY for the headers himself in order to get them was the only thing stopping him from doing it.. According to Jose at Megan they just charged FlyRyde's account, he didn't even have to write a check or pull out the wallet.. SO... I don't see what the big effin deal is. Is Megan accruing interest on your debts Chris? Doubt it..

Anyways, it's something to consider... For those of you who want your sh*t resolved. A $300 plane ticket is a small price to pay for $1000+ owed in product. HELL, I don't even WANT my headers anymore (they're as good as trash to me) but it's the principal of getting what I paid for that bothered me at night..
